Concept art usually refers to world-building artwork used to inspire the development of media products. Concept art is developed through several iterations. Multiple solutions are explored before settling on the final design & once completed, concept art may be reworked & used for advertising materials. Concept art is not only used to develop the work, but also show's the project's progress to directors, clients & investors.

Good art direction combines art & design to evoke a cultural & emotional reaction. It influences movies, music, websites, magazines—just about anything we interact with.
